• Plan your visit when attendance is lightest. Best bets: Weekdays during the summer and any regular operating day during the months of May, June and September.
• Bring a jacket or sweatshirt for cool evenings. You may store loose articles in a locker near the Main Gate or the Water Park (available during Water Park operating hours).
• Smoking is ONLY allowed in designated smoking areas, this includes electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) and vape pens. See the Park Map & Guide for specific locations.
• Arrange a meeting place and time should your party become separated. The Big Wheel is a common meeting area.
• Stop by Stroller Rental if you need a stroller or wheelchair. Come early, as all rentals are on a first-come-first-served basis.
• Review the park map to familiarize yourself with the park’s layout and to help in plan your day.
• Plan to start your day at attractions farthest from the main entrance. Also, ride your favorite rides when the park first opens or after 5 p.m.
• To avoid lines, plan to eat at non-traditional lunch and dinner hours.
• Make sure children feel comfortable riding our rides prior to getting in line. Toddlers will especially like rides and attractions that in KiddieLand.
• Elitch Gardens strongly recommends but does not require that Youth ages 17 and under be chaperoned by an adult 21 years or older. We reserve the right to modify our Youth Chaperone Policy at any time as needed. LEARN MORE
